Dr. Morais was recently included in 2024 Class of Influential Researchers by the prestigious Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research (I&EC Research) journal. This initiative began 7 years ago with the goal of celebrating the contributions of early career investigators through its annual Class of Influential Researchers. In 2024, I&EC Research focused on the theme of decarbonization and invited leading researchers within the first ten years of their independent careers to submit their work for review. That resulted in 21 new contributions from tallented researchers worldwide, including the United States, China, Malaysia, Italy, and The Netherlands.
